I'm not sure how many of you have experienced a parent having a full-blown cerebral stroke right in the middle of the busiest time of your life. Murphy's Law. Yes. Well, that's what happened late last year, right before the Hall of Mirrors fashion show on 11/22/2025, hosted by the amazing Truth & Justice League in Austin, Texas. Not only was it a full-blown fashion show, but dear Uncle Chief Marvin Swallo, Lakota Sundance and ceremonial Chief from South Dakota was there to bring about an incredible prayer for the world. In addition to the presence of Chief Marvin Swallow, there was the celebration honoring numerous other indigenous practices and tribes that Truth & Justice League supports. were in attendance, as well as incredible artists and speakers and philanthropists.
It was really the party of the decade, and we could not attend. Mom had just had her stroke and she became from disabled to full assist overnight. She was completely disoriented for months, and we had to be here. We were not able to fly out to attend this incredible event, but as we know, the show must go on, and it did. As you can see by this fabulous reel,it was nothing short of miraculous. Supermodels from around Austin, male and female rocked the runway. Talented musicians, brilliant artist and magical guests.. Huge shout out to the full team, with a special thanks to Kelly Shaw, for producing the show, former supermodel, gone art museum expert out of Santa Fe, flew down to run the event … and to Cassandra Noeoba (founder of ___ for doing all the casting).
It was nothing short of beautiful, even though we weren't there. That's just a true testament of great art, great fashion, great music, and great people. It lives on even without your presence. I have nothing but love for this incredible team, Truth & Justice League in Austin is an organization founded by activist lawyer Mark Mueller, dedicated to exposing corporate negligence, environmental damage, and systemic injustice with the mission to inform, inspire, connect, and empower individuals to address critical issues regarding health, the environment, and human freedom. In short, the T&J League stands for humanity
